"Not much choice on the menu, but the food you can order is really good and well prepared. Don't miss out on the soup of the day. The atmosphere is not fancy but more like a German Inn (lots of wood). Call on advance and ask for reservation and you won't get any food past 19:45. The waitress is really really really friendly, and I never had to wait for food."

"We came to this restaurant just looking for a place to eat as we were hiking for two weeks through the Black Forest, and needless to say, this was the best stop by far. The food was delicious (especially the potato salad) and the service was exceptional. Our generous waitress spoke fluent English which helped because we struggled with our German. She asked us about our hike and even gave us a map with advice about where to stop along our journey! Thank you so much for a memorable stop. We will certainly come by if we are in the area again."

"This place is a gem. Food was delicious and very local, rhubarb literally from the garden. The hostess was incredibly friendly. I had a very unique dish local to the area and Amanda had sausage from the farmer 10km away. Both great. Bring cash, no cards."
